Hi everyone. Thanks for checking out my website. I’m a writer and photographer and here are a few things I’ve done.
I am the creator and writer of the Movie Map London, the ultimate movie locations app for iPhone. It really doesn’t cost very much so pick it up here from the App Store.
I’m the author of the The Glass Book, a novel completed in 2007. This was my debut novel and you can check it out on the Kindle right now.
I have two degrees: a Bachelor's in Film & English from the University of Southampton and a Master's from Birkbeck, University of London.
There I focused on researching and writing about film history, specialising in silent cinema. I wrote extensively about the Swedish silent films of Victor Sjöström and the reception of Charlie Chaplin’s movies in Britain during WWI.
In 2002 I wrote, directed and performed in two plays at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. These were Waiting for Superman and Word of Mouth. In 2003 I returned with The Monster Opera.
I have an unproduced screenplay called The Dime Detective, a crime thriller set during the Wall Street Crash of 1929. Contact me if you’d like to read it.
I have been featured on BBC radio as a classic film expert for a variety of shows including an interview on The Richard Bacon Show.
Since 2007 I have been the Senior Content Editor at Blinkbox.com.
